Kiran Kumar Mangalpally, MD, is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist and an experienced physician providing expert diagnosis and treatment for patients. Dr. Mangalpally’s knowledge and reassuring manner give confidence to patients affected by a wide range of cardiovascular disorders, including heart failure, arrhythmia, high blood pressure, and circulation problems.

Dr. Mangalpally studied for his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, from 1994 to 2000. He then spent several years at Healing Touch Hospital in Secunderabad, India, as a resident physician. After moving to the United States, Dr. Mangalpally served a three-year residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College’s Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, New York.

Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Mangalpally completed four fellowships: Clinical Pharmacology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Michigan State University’s Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan; Cardiovascular Disease at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan; and Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York City.

Dr. Mangalpally is board-certified in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

These impressive qualifications are a testament to Dr. Mangalpally’s expertise in the field of cardiology, and he has the experience to match, having been in practice for over 23 years. He continues to undertake clinical research to advance all aspects of treatment and care for cardiovascular patients and has had numerous papers published in respected medical journals.
